Dear Parents/Family/Guardian of the Mesa Verde Elementary School Orchestra

Orchestra Students have been doing great in the Orchestra, and they are making great progress. Thank you for your supporting your son/daughter through the process of learning music. We have two concerts coming up, one is at Mesa Verde, and one is at Canyon del Oro High School. Please see below for information.  Looking forward to seeing you at the concerts. We will need few chaperons on 12/12 from 4pm at CDO HS, sign up will be sent to you through remind.

December 5, 2019, Location: Mesa Verde Elementary School

1:30pm – Rehearsal for the Concert, Dress:  Music T-shirts

2pm – Concert for the Mesa Verde Elementary School Students

5:30pm – Come back to Mesa Verde for Performance, Dress: Nice Clothes

6pm – Concert for Parents/Family


December 12, 2019, Location: Canyon del Oro High School

Dress: Nice Clothes

4:15pm – Elementary School Kids Arrive at CDO, Rehearse from 4:30pm -5:15pm, Rehearsal on Stage, leave instruments on stage. Elementary School Students to unpack instruments in the Band Room. Eat dinner (Pizzas/Drinks provided by CDO Orchestra Booster Club) from 5:15pm -5:45pm. Be on stage by 5:50pm, ready to play.

6pm Concert Starts: Elementary (Beginning/Advanced), Middle (Intermediate/Advanced), HS (Concert/Symphonic).  After performing, Elementary and Middle School students are to sit in the audience with your instruments. (Cellos and Basses – Elementary School Students – put them in the Orchestra Pit on the side of the Cello/Bass, Middle School Students, put them to the back stage behind where you performed)
