Park your car entering from Flowing Wells Rd if possible. Go in the school and the Fine Arts Building will be on your left. If not, Go to Prince/Flowing Wells, then turn West, then turn right to Caballero Pl, and park your car, then enter the School. The Fine Arts Building will be on your right.

Saturday, 1/25 at University of Arizona, School of Music, 1017 N. Olive Rd. Tucson AZ.

Park your car at the Garage. NE Corner of Speedway and Park. (Behind 7Eleven). Exit from east side, find underpass to go under Speedway.  When you come up from the Underpass, the School of Music will be on your right. We are South Central Region, Find Blue Signs. Sign up will be in Crowder Hall. Be sure to arrive at least 1 hour before the audition.

Scales are to be memorized.

Order of the Audition.  3 Scales with arpeggios (up to 4 sharps/flats), Excerpt 1,2,3 the Sight Reading. You are not to talk to the judge.  Scale must be played at one note = 120 or faster.  You only have 7 min. to audition.

 

For All State Audition, you are to play 1 min. of solo (must be from the list below).  3 Scales, Major and Minor from all keys (You don’t get to pick, FYI), Excerpt 4 and 5 and Sight Reading.
